Aveda, was founded in 1978 with the goal of providing the beauty industry with one of the most naturally derived and high performance, botanically based products that are better for our service providers and you as our guest, as well as the planet. Right now, more than 90% of the essential oil and herbal ingredients in our products are certified organic. Also, Aveda has a farming co-op with Brazil, Morocco, Bulgaria, Australia and Spain – supporting fair pay for organic ingredients. All of the products are manufactured with 100% wind power. Every day the Lemongrass team focuses on earth preservation with our Cap Recycling Program (re-purposing caps that most recycling centers can’t accept.) We send back the caps to the Aveda maufacturing facility and they make new products out of them. We will continue to strive to not only provide you with the best service, but to have you take home your needed products with confidence that they are helping you AND the environment.
